ABOUT BOWARRING TREE MANAGEMENT
Bowarring comes from the local Indigenous Yorta Yorta language and means “Bloom on Trees”.
To us, Bowarring is more than just a name — it’s a reminder of the role we play in keeping trees, and the land they stand on, healthy and thriving. A bloom is a sign of life, growth, and resilience. It means the tree is cared for, the environment is balanced, and nature is doing what it’s meant to do.
Caring for Country sometimes means protecting and nurturing trees — and other times, it means making the tough call to remove them. Whether it’s for community safety, bushfire risk reduction, or to provide habitat through strategic habitat logs, every action we take is guided by respect for the environment and the people who live in it.
For us, tree management isn’t about ‘keeping or cutting.’ It’s about making the right decision for the health of Country.
Jackson Charles, the Director of Bowarring, is a proud Yorta Yorta local with more than 5 years of industry experience and a Diploma of Arboriculture. He is passionate about delivering excellent service, building strong community connections, and ensuring that every project is carried out with professionalism, care, and respect for the environment. Jackson’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction sets the standard for the Bowarring team.

WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
In our work — whether we’re pruning, removing hazards, providing arborist reports, or consulting on vegetation management — Bowarring is our benchmark. It’s the standard we aim for: trees and environments in their best possible condition.
It’s important to us because it connects:
-
Our Purpose – caring for trees, from roots to canopy, with skill and respect.
-
Our Culture – grounding our work in Indigenous knowledge and connection to Country.
-
Our Promise – delivering safe, professional, and sustainable tree services that leave spaces better than we found them.
For us, Bowarring isn’t just a word. It’s a commitment — to trees, to people, and to Country.
